Optional means optional.

You can browse, save prints and use your account without allowing analytics.

Who handles your data?

Oddly Local is a trading name of VELIXA APP LTD.

Registered in England and Wales.
Company number: 17185369.

Registered office: 66 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NA.

Email: [email protected].

VELIXA APP LTD is the controller for personal information used to operate the Oddly Local website, customer accounts, artwork fulfilment and enquiries.

Your account & bag

We use your verified email to identify your account and send sign-in links. A secure session cookie keeps you signed in; signing out revokes it. Your account bag is stored on our server. We also keep the contents and last activity of an active basket, including guest baskets, for up to 24 hours without activity to operate the bag and help with shopping enquiries. The private Studio shows these baskets to our authorised team; guest baskets have no name or email unless you sign in. Completed baskets disappear from this view. A reference without basket contents is retained for seven days to prevent a stale browser tab restoring a purchased basket.

Product IDs and any chosen shirt name and number are also stored in this browser so your bag survives a refresh. Remove products from your bag or clear this site’s browser data to remove the local copy. Saved favourites and chosen teams are stored in your browser and, when signed in, in your account to sync across devices. You can remove them on the Saved prints & teams page. They are separate from email marketing consent.

Personalised previews

Your entered name and number are sent to our server to render your preview; preview details are not saved there. If you add a personalised print to your bag, those choices are saved with it, including in the active basket record. Confirmed orders retain the chosen personalisation so we can prepare and support your files.

Search terms appear in the page URL. We do not send raw search text or shirt personalisation to analytics.

Cookies & analytics

Optional analytics stays off until you choose Allow analytics. With permission, we measure page views, landing pages, referral websites, campaign labels, product and bag activity, device category, scrolling and time with a page visible.

We use a random browser identifier. First-party event data is retained for 90 days; analytics identifiers expire after 90 days and your cookie choice is remembered for 180 days. Google Analytics receives permitted events when enabled, with its report retention managed separately.

Your email, name, shirt personalisation and raw search text are excluded from analytics. Reports cover measured, consenting visits, rather than every visitor. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Email news & preferences

Only if you opt in, we use your verified email, name and the teams and prints in your confirmed purchases to select relevant Oddly Local news and offers. A purchase does not subscribe you. Gift personalisation is not used as your name or to infer the recipient’s identity.

We record your choice, its date, source and wording. You can turn marketing off at any time in Email preferences. We keep a minimal record of your choice to respect it. Order and sign-in messages are separate. Test purchases are excluded from the real marketing audience.

When you contact us

The contact form sends your name, email address, selected subject and message to [email protected] through our OVH email service so we can respond. Contact messages are handled in our mailbox; they are not added to analytics or a mailing list.

Cloudflare Turnstile checks form submissions to help prevent spam. Our hosting and security services process technical request information to serve and protect the website.

Payments & orders

We use Stripe Managed Payments for website purchases. We retain order references, contact details, purchased items, personalisation, payment status and download-access records to process orders and provide your files.

Payment details are entered directly into Stripe’s checkout. We do not receive or store full card numbers or security codes. Stripe receives information needed to process checkout, such as email, billing information, order items and technical information.

When Managed Payments is used, Stripe/Link acts as merchant of record and handles transaction information under its own privacy notices: Stripe privacy and Link privacy. Links to other services, including OpenStreetMap, lead to their own policies.

Why we use information

We use information necessary to provide the account, previews and downloads you request, and to take steps towards or fulfil an order. We rely on legitimate interests to secure the site, prevent abuse and respond to general enquiries. Optional analytics and personalised email marketing rely on your separate consent. Where applicable, we retain records to meet legal obligations.

Account, order and support records are retained for as long as needed to provide the service, resolve enquiries or disputes and meet applicable legal record-keeping requirements. Secure order-email links grant access only to that order and expire with its 90-day download window. Treat them as private. Download access expires after 90 days; this does not automatically delete the associated order record. Ask us about deletion or the retention applying to your records.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email [email protected]; we may need to verify your identity. These rights are subject to applicable legal exceptions.

You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office or your local data-protection authority. You can also contact us first so we can try to resolve your concern.
